On Tuesday April 9, 2019 the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office SWAT team hosted the Moody Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors Club. This day of learning and sharing is designed to introduce the attendees to information on the SWAT Teams most current tactical processes and give demonstrations of some of the techniques, tools and equipment used to fulfill their duties. The SWAT Team introduced the Ambassador's Club to weapons, gas, and a drone demonstration by Reserve Deputy Jeff King. Captain Glen Walton of the Odenville PD and member of the St. Clair County SWAT Team was able to give the group a demonstration of the beautiful K9 Bella and how she is all business when she is working. The last activity of the day was taking the group on the range for a demonstration of the weapons used during SWAT calls.
