This morning the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office School Resource Officers were made aware of terrorist threats from an employee that works in the lunch room at Margaret Elementary School.

School Resource Officers were on scene along with Margaret Police Department and Odenville Police Department to secure the area. Margaret Elementary Administration placed the school on lockdown.

Howard Kurgan a 38 year old, white male of Odenville was arrested by the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office and charged with terrorist threats.

Kurgan will have no bond at this time pending a hearing.

We are thankful that there were no injuries and the situation ended without incident.
