07/15/2021

COVID 19

The St. Clair County Jail in Ashville has implemented numerous safety protocols to combat the recent outbreak of COVID 19. All COVID 19 recommendations have been followed including previously offering vaccinations. The Alabama National Guard along with the Alabama Department of Public Health were on site at the jail in May and June offering vaccinations. A professional cleaning company has been contracted to deep clean the entire facility in addition to daily cleaning of the entire facility by staff. The positive tested inmates have been quarantined and are under observation. Inmates are issued new masks daily. The St. Clair County Jail in Ashville is open as usual, and all new incarcerated individuals are being tested for COVID 19.
