It is with deep sadness that we mourn the loss of one of our Sheriff's Office family. Deputy Sheriff/School Resource Officer Gary Lambert. Gary was a wonderful person and positive role model to so many. He will be deeply missed and the world is a little dimmer without him in it. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family. The arrangements are as follows: Visitation - Thursday from 2pm-4pm at Meadowbrook Baptist Church located at 4984 Meadow Brook Rd in Birmingham. The funeral will follow at 4pm with graveside service at Southern Heritage Funeral Home located at 476 Cahaba Valley Rd in Pelham.
