Suspect: Joel Hogeland, 31 YO, W/M of Ashville

The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Division intercepted a package containing 103 THC vape cartridges being shipped from California to an address on Littafachee Drive in Ashville. The THC vape cartridges are advertised on the package to contain 92% Distillate THC.  A Narcotics Division Investigator, assisting Sheriff’s deputies, and Ashville PD executed a search warrant at 185 Littafachee Drive in Ashville. During search warrant execution resident Joel Hogeland was arrested and the Sheriff’s Narcotics Division seized 64 additional THC vape cartridges that advertised on the package to contain 92% Distillate THC. The Sheriff’s Narcotics Division also seized 39 vape devices used to ingest the controlled substance. He was booked into the St. Clair County Jail in Ashville where he bonded out on a $20,000.00 bond.
