Event: Arrest made in Odenville Drug robbery

Suspect: Xavier Story, a 26 YO , B/M from Irondale

Charges: Robbery 1st - Bond 500,000

For immediate release:

On October 23, 2019 at 17:25 a black male wearing black sweats and a black hat came into Odenville Drugs, and presented a note demanding narcotics. He told the clerk to fill the bag. The clerk went to the back and he then entered the back are of the drug store demanding them to hurry up and pointing out what bottles he wanted. He then fled the scene in a silver Nissan Versa SL with a tag of 1CZ1521.   

After an extensive investigation by the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division and with the help of the Odenville PD, Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, ATF, Jefferson State Community College Police, and Birmingham PD, investigators made a positive identification of the suspect.

Birmingham Police Department arrested the subject on 11-4-19.  He is being held in the Birmingham City Jail on multiple Birmingham PD charges. Trafficking hydrocodone, unlawful possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana, and certain person forbidden to carry firearms.

Story's charge in St. Clair County is Robbery 1st and his bond here is 500,000.00.
