Countywide warrant round up
On April 15 and 16, 2026, the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office, along with assisting federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies, conducted a warrant roundup.
The St. Clair County Drug Enforcement Unit, Sheriff's deputies, municipal police officers, and the FBI traveled to locations throughout St. Clair County and surrounding jurisdictions. They served outstanding warrants, conducted criminal patrols, and enforced drug laws. These efforts resulted in 40 arrests for crimes including child abuse/torture, distribution of dangerous drugs, possession of dangerous drugs, and property crimes such as burglary and theft.
The St. Clair County Sheriff's Office and St. Clair Drug Enforcement Unit were assisted by Pell City, Ashville, Odenville, Moody, Leeds, Riverside, Margaret, Argo, Springville, Irondale, and Trussville Police Departments, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and Shelby, Blount, Etowah, and Calhoun County Sheriff's Offices.
