Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) executes narcotics search warrant in Pell City

Narcotics Search Warrant Executed; Arrests Made in Pell City
The St. Clair County Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) executed a narcotics search warrant at the residence of Victor Earl Bedford in Pell City.
During the search, law enforcement recovered quantities of suspected methamphetamine, fentanyl, crack cocaine, synthetic marijuana, and various firearms.
Victor Earl Bedford, a 43 y/o, b/m of Pell City, was arrested and charged with the following offenses:
- Two counts of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance
- Five counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance
- One count of receiving stolen property (2nd degree)
- One count of possession of a firearm by a prohibited person
- One count of possession of drug paraphernalia
- One count of unlawful possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance
**Bond: $151,000.00**
Shanta Undra Ward, a 33 y/o, b/m of Birmingham, was arrested and charged with the following:
- Three counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance
- One count of receiving stolen property (2nd degree)
- One count of possession of a firearm by a prohibited person
- One count of possession of drug paraphernalia
- One count of unlawful possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance
**Bond: $91,000.00**
Willie Scott Dansby, a 64 y/o, b/m of Cropwell, was arrested and charged with the following:
- Three counts of unlawful possession of a controlled substance
- One count of receiving stolen property (2nd degree)
- One count of possession of a firearm by a prohibited person
- One count of possession of drug paraphernalia
- One count of unlawful possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance
**Bond: $91,000.00**
The St. Clair County Drug Enforcement Unit was assisted by the Pell City Police Department SWAT Team, Sheriff's Patrol, and the Pell City Police Department Patrol.
