Pins presented to Deputies Newton and Tutten for life saving efforts

Deputy Matt Newton and Deputy Zac Tutten were presented pins from Sheriff Billy J. Murray for their acts of service on a medical call.

On August 2nd, dispatch received a 911 call for a 34-year-old man who was unresponsive, not breathing, and in cardiac arrest.  Deputy Matt Newton and Deputy Zac Tutten used their automated external defibrillator multiple times, successfully reviving the victim, who is now recovering from an undiagnosed heart condition.
