Mountain Top Loop in Pell City

The St. Clair County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to a recreational plane crash on Mountain Top Loop Rd in Pell City. The pilot stated he attempted an emergency landing after losing fuel.

The pilot was uninjured, and the passenger had minor injuries and was sent to UAB Hospital to be checked out.

The FAA is currently on scene.
