Training for School Resource Officers

Hosted by the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office

The St. Clair County School Resource Officer Division recently participated in a week of training focused on Single Officer Response to an active shooter scenario. Our SROs are dedicated to ensuring the safety of our schools and maintaining control during potentially chaotic situations. Preparing our emergency action plan and conducting regular training exercises are top priorities for us during the summer break.
The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office hosted this training and took place at various schools throughout the county, including Shades Valley High School, Irondale Community School, Fultondale High School, and Gardendale Elementary.
Thank you to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office for a great week of training!
