Search for suspect with felony warrants in Shelby County

The search has ended, and the suspect was not located.

vehicle pursuit of a wanted person

The St. Clair County Sheriff's Office attempted to stop a driver in a vehicle who had felony warrants and pursued the vehicle to Highway 55 in Shelby County.  The driver fled on foot. 

St. Clair County deputies are currently searching for the subject on foot and with Air One in a wooded area off Stone Ridge Lane. 

The Shelby County Sheriff's Office is assisting in the search, and we do not believe the male subject to be a danger to the public. However, please be cautious and call 911 if you see someone suspicious.
