Update on aggravated child abuse investigation                                                                                

Suspect- Shelli Edwards, 41-year-old, w/f of Cropwell

The St. Clair County Sheriff's Office has filed additional charges against Shelli Edwards. 

These include two more counts of aggravated child abuse (for a total of three), one count of production of child sex abuse materials (CSAM), four counts of possession of CSAM, one count of rape in the first degree, one count of sexual torture, two counts of sodomy in the first degree, one count of incest, one count of sexual abuse in the first degree, and four counts of failure by a mandatory reporter to report abuse. 

In total, there are 18 charges.

Mrs. Edwards is being held without bond pending an Aniah's Law hearing.
