Event: Homicide Investigation

Location: 1000 Block of Mountain Top Loop Rd. in Pell City                                                         

Victim: Stanley Edward Gibson, Jr. a 32-year-old B/M from Centerpoint, AL

 

On August 21, 2021 at 3:15 pm the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office responded to a deceased person call. The Criminal Investigation Division of the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office responded, along with St. Clair County Coroner Dennis Russell. The body of an adult black male was found alongside the roadway and had been there several days. An autopsy was completed on August 23rd and it was discovered the victim suffered a gun shot wound which caused his death. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
