The Office of the Sheriff is pleased to announce the appointment of Captain Matt Coupland to Chief Deputy.

Chief Deputy Coupland's law enforcement career began at the Odenville Police Department in 1997 and he joined the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office in 2002.

He will be overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Sheriff's Office and will report directly to the Sheriff.

Chief Deputy Coupland resides in Odenville with his family and is a lifelong resident of St. Clair County.
