 Award of $ 16,202.00 through JAG funding

  

The St. Clair County Sheriff's Office applied for and was awarded funding though the 2022 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program to purchase Level IIIA+ Ballistic Shields.

With violent crime happening in schools and communities across the nation having the tools to adequately serve and protect our own is a high priority. The Sheriff's Office received the shields this week and they will be placed in the tactical vehicle making them immediately available in the field where the need arises.
