Scammers posing as an officer from the Sheriff's Office

The Sheriff's Office has received multiple reports of an individual/scammers contacting residents claiming to be a Lieutenant from the St. Clair County Sheriff's Office.

Residents are being told that they missed their Grand Jury court date and being instructed to send money to an account.

Please do not give out your personal information.

This is a scam.

We will not contact you and never ask for money.
